How are you different than other fertility coaches? As a registered nurse since 2004, I have experience in all areas of infertility diagnosis and treatment, working directly with individuals and couples for 16 years at a fertility clinic. I have also experienced thoughts, feelings, and emotions that are involved in fertility as an anonymous egg donor, through my own miscarriage and as a personal egg banking patient - not just as a fertility nurse. Embrace Fertility offers integrative fertility support through education, guidance, and compassion. If you just want a safe space to vent and FEEL your emotions with someone who GETS it, this is the right fit for you.

Can you guarantee I will get pregnant? There is no way to guarantee that anyone will conceive. If someone is telling you there is a guarantee, read the fine print first. Sometimes Western medicine is not enough and combined with integrative support and small lifestyle modifications, conception chances may improve. At Embrace Fertility, we guarantee that you will have a personalized support plan as every woman's journey is unique.

What is the definition of infertility?Infertility does not discriminate for age, gender, socio-economic status, religion or sexuality. 1 in 6 globally are affected by infertility. You are not alone. The updated definition by ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) in 2023 states: “Infertility” is a disease, condition, or status characterized by any of the following: The inability to achieve a successful pregnancy based on a patient’s medical, sexual, and reproductive history, age, physical findings, diagnostic testing, or any combination of those factors. The need for medical intervention, including, but not limited to, the use of donor gametes or donor embryos in order to achieve a successful pregnancy either as an individual or with a partner. In patients having regular, unprotected intercourse and without any known etiology for either partner suggestive of impaired reproductive ability, evaluation should be initiated at 12 months when the female partner is under 35 years of age and at six months when the female partner is 35 years of age or older. Nothing in this definition shall be used to deny or delay treatment to any individual, regardless of relationship status or sexual orientation. “a disease of the reproductive system that impairs the body's ability to perform the basic function of reproduction.“
